West End shopping district Carnaby launches its Rolling Stones themed Christmas installations today in celebration of the band’s 50th Anniversary.

Spheres containing gold and silver vinyl records emblazoned with iconic Stones’ artwork and album covers are suspended throughout Carnaby Street. The arches are dressed with the tongue logo, there’s a pop up shop selling Stones’ apparel, prints, and from November 12 the band’s new greatest hits collection GRRR!. A limited edition canvas shopping bag will also be available for shoppers.

“We are delighted to be working with the most famous band in the world,” Simon Quayle, strategy and management director at Shaftesbury plc, said. “They have been instrumental in defining popular culture and epitomise the essence of Carnaby’s music heritage.”
