Seventa Events have secured a five-year Bournemouth Borough Council contract to provide the town’s Christmas offering.

The company intends to create a new experience by transforming the centre of Bournemouth into a festive wonderland. An Alpine Lodge is planned to be built in the town centre alongside an Alpine Market and a Santa’s Grotto.

“We are delighted to have been awarded the Christmas event contract which recognises our growth and excellent industry reputation,” Simon Brooks, founder and director of Seventa Events.

“It allows us to be truly creative and manufacture bespoke items for Bournemouth including an incredible two storey Alpine Lodge. We are in talks with several large brands to activate within the Christmas festival and we are excited to showcase the Alpine Lodge as a unique venue for clients to host their events,” said Brooks.

The interior of the Alpine Lodge will feature sofa seating areas, fireplaces and bars with a range of Christmas drinks and cheeses to offer.

“Bournemouth Borough Council is pleased to have the award-winning Seventa Events on board to deliver the new ‘Christmas in Bournemouth’,” said Jon Weaver head of resort marketing and events at Bournemouth Borough Council.

“Christmas is vital to the town’s economy and there are still plenty of potentials to be unlocked. We hope the new Christmas offering will attract more visitors to the town both locally and nationally, providing a boost for local traders and businesses around the festive period,” said Weaver.
