Showsec have appointed two new area managers as the company prepares for further northern expansion.

The Yorkshire branch of the crowd management and security specialists has divided into two areas, in Leeds and Sheffield, following the restructure of the Manchester office. 

Sam Hodkin joins the Leeds office, while Craig Bennett takes up his position in Sheffield. Both are graduates of Showsec’s Management Development programme. 

Six of the programme’s recent graduates have now gone on to become area managers. 

“This is another significant step in Showsec’s development throughout the region and puts us in a very strong position now to achieve further growth in the future,” said the company’s regional manager in the north, Alan Wallace. 

“This is an exciting new challenge for Sam and Craig to take on, but they have been given an excellent springboard through the Management Development programme, which has created a strong infrastructure for us to promote from within.”
