V Festival organiser Roseclaim has appointed Showsec to supply full stewarding and security at the 80,000 capacity Weston Park, Staffordshire site.

“We are already engaged in extensive planning with Roseclaim and Staffordshire Police, agreeing the relevant parameters to ensure the highest service levels are in place to deliver a professional service to the ticket-buying public,” Showsec director, Mark Logan, said.

“Operations will remain focused on our priority that all attendees have a safe and enjoyable experience, befitting the overall philosophy of the V Festival production management team, Andy Redhead and Liam Boylan.”

The two day festival is held in tandem with sister event, V Chelmsford, on 17 and 18 August. The headliners this year are Beyonce and Kings of Leon.
