Sodexo Prestige in Scotland has won a competitive tender to provide conferencing and banqueting facilities for Freemasons’ Hall in Edinburgh.

Under the three-year contract, worth a six figure sum, the company will also promote and sell the venue, which is situated in George Street.

The complex consists of two halls, a grand committee room, a museum and library, and other committee rooms, all of which can all be hired out. The Grand Hall can host dinners for 240 people and receptions for 400 people. Drinks receptions for up to
500 people can be held using the various rooms.

“We are delighted to have won this contract for one of
Edinburgh’s most unique though under-utilised
conferencing and events [sites],” Austin Tilsley, Sodexo
Prestige in Scotland’s regional director, said.
“This is an exciting opportunity to work with the client to
develop the venue and put it on the map.”
