Stagecraftuk, the event production and staging company, is heading to this year’s Event Production Show at Olympia at the end of February with a challenge set to all visitors to its stand: to see if they can top the Stagecraftuk Scalextric leader board and be in with a chance of winning a spectacular supercar driving experience.

Stagecraftuk will highlight some of its specialist services in advanced AV systems, truss and rigging and creative event staging.

To demonstrate some of its event-staging prowess, the company is showcasing a full-size Scalextric race course on which visitors to the stand will be encouraged to clock the fastest lap.

If at the end of the two days of the event, they are still leading the Stagecraftuk Scalextric leader board, they will win a fantastic supercar driving experience for themselves and one other person.

“We know that event organisers and managers are looking for something standout and special for their events and often achieve this by introducing more innovative technology,” said Gerald Salt, Stagecraftuk’s managing director. “Our approach at the Event Production Show is to highlight just how Stagecraftuk can help them achieve this in reality. We will be employing a variety of exciting AV systems on our stand to show how technology can add real value to any event, be it a product launch through to a large-scale conference or exhibition.

“By using a Scalextric race course on the stand, we are not just whipping up excitement and competition, we are also showing how you can take something quite retro and showcase it to a new-level, providing you have the right staging.”

Stagecraftuk can be found on stand D50E of the Event Production Show at Olympia on 28 February to 1 March.

“Remember to bring your driving gloves!” added Salt.
