The annual Stand up to Cancer fundraising event was held at Central Hall Westminster on 1 October this year, broadcasting a mix of comedy and music live on Channel 4.

The seven-hour telathon was hosted by Davina McCall, Alan Carr and Adam Hills and raised an impressive £15.7m for Cancer Research.

Paul Southern, managing director of Central Hall Westminster, commented: “I am very proud of all the hard work the team have put in to make this a truly memorable event. It’s an honour to have been selected to host the Stand Up To Cancer event for the second time in a row.”

Event crew provider Showforce supplied crew onsite for production company Princess productions Ltd, amassing 222 shifts in total.

Katie Joyce, Princess Productions Ltd’s production manager, said: “We’re grateful to Showforce for their hard work on Stand up to Cancer.
“The night crew worked incredibly hard to get all the set and a truck full of steeldeck out of the front doors overnight. The day shift followed that up by loading out all of the LX and rigging, clearing the roof stage and then helping us to clear the venue and return it as we found it.”
