Sundown Festival organisers ENVY Productions have appointed Hawthorn to support the technical production at the event.

The festival, which is taking place at Norfolk Showground from 29 – 31 August 2014, is now in its fourth year.

Hawthorn project manager Mick Freer said he is proud to be reappointed for the event. Hawthorn will deliver the lighting, rigging and draping for the main stage and dance tent.

The event kicks off on Friday night with a Big Top Opening Party for all the campers.

Main stage headliners include Chase & Status, Tinie Tempah, Ellie Goulding and John Newman.

Each of these headliners will bring in their own lighting designers and floor lighting packages to overlay on to the festival lighting rig on the 19 metre Super Nova main stage – provided by Serious Stages.

The lighting rig consists of moving light spots, washes and LED fixtures, strobes and molefays, to create a variety of moods.

Channel 4 will also be on site filming interviews for their Battlefront series.
