DF Concerts & Events has reported sell out sales for T in the Park’s early bird ticket offer, which was launched last week, thousands of music fans using the new £50 deposit scheme to secure their place at T20, the festival’s 20th year, in 2013.

T was the first major UK festival to sell out this year, with Friday capacity increased and a record attendance over the weekend. Eighty five thousand people enjoyed all three days, and performances from Snow Patrol, Stone Roses and Kasabian alongside 200 other bands across 11 stages, despite the downpours, which plagued British events through most of June/July.
