With just three weeks until event professionals descend on Olympia London for International Confex and the Event Production Show (18-19 February), organisers have announced the tech experts who will be exhibiting and showcasing.

Around 60 event tech companies are confirmed so far, including Cvent, UTrac Online, Ticketscript, CrowdComms, Double Dutch and Noodle Live will be there as part of a big reveal of specialist systems and solutions for enhancing events.

New apps, badging, event planning software, projection mapping, registration systems, and wearable technology will all be on display at the Confex and EPS, which are co-located this year.

Event director Liz Agostini said: “Technology is a rapidly growing sector within the events industry that is forcing us to re-imagine how we produce events, interact with audiences and evaluate success,” said event director Liz Agostini.

“With so many incredible innovations and inventions now available, we thought it was essential for both exhibitions to renew their focus on the technology market. We hope that our varied exhibitors and experts will educate and inspire event organisers as to how technology can seamlessly integrate and become an integral part of planning.”

At EPS:

Creative agency Imagination will debate how technology can be used to enhance audience experiences, while Sol Johnson of RewindFX will reveal the types of wearable technology on scene for 2015.

At International Confex:

The Technology Theatre will host 12 panel debates, covering new and emerging tech, including iBeacons, holographs, and gamification apps. The ‘Technovation Station’, sponsored by Lumi Insight and RewindFX, will let visitors test virtual and augmented reality simulators, Megabooths and selfie machines. Meanwhile, the Mexia Communications-sponsored ‘Tech Tables’ will offer advice on guidance on the right technology for events.
