Noel Gallagher has announced the line-up for the Teenage Cancer Trust concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, which take place from 19 to 24 March 2013.

Ryan Adams, Kasabian, Primal Scream, Rizzle Kicks and Labrinth will all play, along with a night of comedy featuring two of the UK’s biggest comedians Russell Brand and Noel Fielding. Gallagher will headline the Saturday evening with special guests including Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon.

The Oasis/High Flying Birds man, a longstanding supporter of the charity, was asked to get involved in curating the shows by trust patron Roger Daltrey, who is on the road with The Who. It is the first time Daltrey has invited anyone else to pick the performers.

“Teenage Cancer Trust does a brilliant job and it’s an honour to have the task of putting together the bills for next year’s series of concerts at the Royal Albert Hall,” Gallagher said.

The shows are the charity’s flagship event. The money raised makes a massive difference to the lives of thousands of young people with cancer across the UK. As the only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting teenagers and young adults with cancer, Teenage Cancer Trust relies on the support of the general public to fund a range of services that aim to improve their quality of life and chances of survival.
