The Ticket Factory has been awarded the exclusive contract for next year’s LEN European Aquatics Championships, which will be held at the Olympic Park’s London Aquatics Centre.

The ticketing supplier has already built a bespoke white-label ticketing solution for the event, and will now delivery a sports marketing campaign to ensure the May 2016 competition is a sell-out event. The Ticket Factory is also handling full contact centre, fulfillment and box office services for the event. Around 30,000 tickets are expected to be sold.

“This put The Ticket Factory onto the international sporting stage and puts us head-to-head with other players in this market,” said managing director Stuart Cain. “We came close to winning the Rugby World Cup and World IAAF Championships in 2017, so I’m delighted to secure this major international event.”

The contract win comes after a busy 2015 for The Ticket Factory, having handled most of the Lawn Tennis Association’s events this year, the Davis Cup semi-final in Glasgow and Bradley Wiggins’ World Hour Record attempt at the Olympic Park Velodrome.

The LEN European Aquatics Championships 2016 returns to London for the first time since 1938 on 9-22 May, with tickets on sale now from theticketfactory.com.
