Ticketscript has appointed Nick Wells as country director UK to lead the company’s commercial team.

Wells joins having spent the last 15 years in senior roles at Capital Radio, Talksport, and Perform Group. He also owned a successful live arena-based events company.

Wells’ appointment comes at a time of rapid expansion within the self-service digital ticketing company. Earlier this year, Ticketscript announced a £7m investment from FF&P Private Equity to support its international growth plans.

“It’s exciting to join Ticketscript at such a pinnacle stage,” Wells said. “Ticketscript provides event organisers a dynamic and unique proposition to gain real in-depth insights and enable them to grow their business.

“Given the diverse blend of industry and commercial experience within the team, I’m confident this will help us foster and drive the company even more.”

In 2013, the company’s reports a standalone growth of 49%, providing its solution to over 25,000 events.
