Unique Venues of London (UVL) unveiled its new branding yesterday (8 July) while celebrating its 21st birthday.

The representative body of London’s more distinctive venues showed off its new branding to an audience of around 300 clients and event professionals at the Royal Academy of Arts – one of UVL’s 81 event venues dotted around the capital.

“This move recognises the diversity and breadth of our members, reinforcing our bespoke approach to events,” said UVL’s chairwoman Moya Maxwell. “We wanted a new logo that truly represented our individual, diverse, and above all, unique collection of venues.

“The new typeface and vibrant colour scheme delivers this, offering a visual representation of our forward-thinking approach, readiness to embrace new technology, and ability to harness developing trends in the events market.”

Sumo Design delivered UVL’s new branding, which emphasises the body’s commitment to championing the individuality of its members, as well as its ability to give event planners access to different spaces around London.

UVL’s portfolio of venues includes the National Theatre, the Science Museum, London Zoo and Hampton Court Palace, among many others.
