Wembley Stadium has become Accredited in Meetings (AIM) and joined the Meetings Industry Association (MIA) as venue members.
The stadium is home to England football and hosts concerts, live events, conferences, meetings, events and exhibitions year-round.
Wembley joins more than 500 venues and suppliers who have achieved AIM by agreeing and adhering to a strict code of practice, demonstrating excellence in terms of legal compliance, ethical business operations, capability, quality of facilities, and overall fitness for purpose.
“AIM is the definitive hallmark of quality for the meetings and events industry, and we’re delighted to achieve this recognition,” said Wembley Stadium’s business development director Ruth Kaye.
As the only nationally-recognised quality standard for the events, meetings and conferences industry, AIM is endorsed by Visit Britain, Visit Wales, Meet England, ABPCO, MPI and HBAA.
