More than 20,000 visitors are expected at this year’s Wimbledon Village Fair on 21 June.

The annual event, organised by The Wimbledon Guild, offers shopping areas, children’s zones and live entertainment on Wimbledon Common.

In addition, an International Food Village will offer churros and tagines, which foodies can wash down with a range of beers, ales and ciders in the Surrey Craft Beer, Bar & Jazz Tent.

High-level competitions at the Wimbledon Village Stables Horse Show will also take place, as well as the Wimbledon Guild Horse & Dog Relay and Robert Holmes’ Musical Rides. A Fun Dog Show will showcase the village’s well-groomed pups.

The All England Tennis Club will be putting on fun tennis games, as well as giving kids the chance to decorate the championship tennis balls.

“The Fair raises funds and awareness for The Wimbledon Guild and this year is set to be the best yet,” said chief executive Wendy Pridmore. “By joining in the fun you are also helping The Wimbledon Guild to provide support in the local community.”
