Experiential agency WRG has announced the hire of a new global business director, a brand new role designed to help grow the business around the world.
Nicola Eyles (pictured) will take over the role, joining from JLA Media, where she served as head of communications. Eyles has more than 15 years’ experience in international marketing, client handling and communication.
She will be tasked primarily with developing WRG’s Shell account and strengthening its global presence in the energy sector.
“We’re looking forward to working with Nicola and the wealth of experience she will bring to the agency-client relationship,” said Shell head of communications production Danny von Otterdyk.
On her new role, Eyles said: “For me it is all about understanding a client’s business, not only the way they do business themselves but also the way in which their clients and other stakeholders do. Gaining this insight allows the formation of truly effective communication strategies that add to the success of a business. WRG is renowned for delivering beyond the expectations of their clients and I’m looking forward to being a part of this team.”
